A Ceremony is a door to access to more reality then what we got confident with, to the bigger picture then what we have defined and comprehended, to the unknown world inside and outside of us. Ceremonies are creating purification by going through desillusions and they transmit empowerments by touching more reality. The ceremony helps us to let go of what we think , to find ourselves in simple presence and openness.
Some ceremonies use heat, darkness, silence, visualisations and ancient songs; some use space, loneliness, fasting and isolation and others use fast movements, drums and dancing. They all lead to open up our perception for a “bigger world” which is not defined through time and space.
The intend of all the ceremonies lead by Markus Wider is to help to be more and more human with its vast possibilities, by touching our prayer, even if it is not fitting our personal concepts or our religious and esoteric ideas. The intend is to get a more and more alive and to recover the beauty and the power in the paradox of ordinariness and simplicity, which is, in its essence, enlightenment.
